The
Palace Theater |
Four-Time Tony Winning Producer Stewart F. Lane
has brought such smash Broadway shows to the stage as
The 39 Steps, Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Cage aux Folles, Liza at the Palace, and now Superior Donuts. This grand master is at your side to help you to avoid common pitfalls and orchestrate the success of your show—whether you’re working in a high school, college, community, or regional theatre. Read it all here in Mr. Lane’s new DVD, Let’s Put on a Show!, a guide to producing from raising money to creating an audience.
The Drama League and friends hosted a free special cocktail reception featuring Mr. Broadway himself as he talked about producing for today’s theatre. The event was followed by a signing of Mr. Lane’s new DVD.
Founded in 1916, The Drama League is one of the country’s most vital arts organizations. Its award-winning artist education and audience development programs are designed to strengthen and enhance professional theatre in America. The Drama League serves nearly 100,000 theatregoers, artists, industry professionals and young people each year. Mr. Lane, along with his wife Bonnie Comley, were the Drama League’s 2009 Benefit Gala Honorees. Ms. Comley currently sits on the board of the Drama League.
