Black Tie International:
Center for Creative Education

David and Nadine Fite, J’Lysa Wilson, and Center for Creative Education

(West Palm Beach) – Co-chairs Diana and Michael Perry gathered along with committee members at a reception at Eg2 recently to unmask the kick-off party of the season -- Over the Big Top Goes Carnivále!  Nearly 50 committee members packed the trendy Northwood Village gallery to toast the upcoming Center for Creative Education benefit event and learn to make masks to be used at the November 7th festivities featuring dinner, dancing and Carnivále themed surprises.

“Along with co-chairman Tricia Quick, we are honored to be chairs for the fifth annual Over the Big Top event,” said Mr. Perry.  “The theme of this event is spectacular and we’ve had a lot of fun planning it.  Center for Creative Education artists generously attended our committee party to teach us the mask making process just like in they do in the classroom with CCE programming for area school children.  It was great to get a taste of the CCE experience of learning through the arts – all while planning a party.”

Over the Big Top committee members include honorary chairmen Susie Dwinell, Ross Meltzer, Alex Snyder and Keith Williams and members Nicole and Dave Atkinson, Beth Beatty, Reid Boren, Jackie and Beau Breckenridge, Jane and Gordon Brown, Diane Buhler, Celeste and John Cassidy, Maura and Eric Christu, Jan Coniglio Cook, Barbara and Michael Crimi, Aime Dunstan, Julia Duresky, Laura Evans, Nadine and David Fite, Jillian and Mat Forrest, Caroline and Tom Forrest, Lou Lou and Jamie Gordon, Nicole and Jason Guari, Jim Held, Kenn Karakul, Christine and Desmond Keogh, Carol and Tom Kirchhoff, Dana and Jessica Koch, Andrea and Brian Kosoy, Bill Kopp, Karyn and Kevin Lamb, Dianne and Mark LaRoe, Helene and Matt Lorentzen, Mia and Bob Matthews, Jessica and Shawn McGruder, Ali Mendia, Pam and Brad Miller, Sarah and Brian Miller, Stephen Mooney, Nicole and Ryan Munder, Mario Nievera, Colleen Orrico, Ruby Patterson, Chrissy Poorman, Kourtney Pulitzer, Chad Renfro, John Ripley, Linda Soper, Danielle and Craig Storch, Jessica and Clay Surovek, Rena Toppe, Betsy and Wally Turner, Sabra Van Der Poel, Scott Velozo, Michele Vogel, and Penny Williams.

Proceeds from Over the Big Top events will benefit programs for the Center for Creative Education, a not-for-profit educational organization that supports partnerships among schools, arts and cultural organizations, artists, community-based organizations, and human service providers.  CCE integrates the arts into academic curriculum and after school activities in Palm Beach County.

Over the Big Top event co-chairs will start the celebration for the public at a pre-event at Amici in Palm Beach on October 21st from 6 to 8 p.m.  All tips and donations from the Celebrity Bartending event will also benefit the Center for Creative Education.
