An Event for the Ages The Drake Hotel Hosts 3rd Annual 50 & Beautiful Event in Support of A Silver Lining Foundation Some of Chicago's best and brightest women, ages 50 and above, will be strutting their stuff down the catwalk at the 3rd Annual 50 & Beautiful Event on Wednesday, July 18th at the famed Drake Hotel. The event, which benefits A Silver Lining Foundation, will celebrate influential Chicago area women and showcase new designer collections for an event that combines food, fashion and fun. A Silver Lining Foundation has ensured cancer resource information, treatment options, support, and mammogram services to thousands of people in the Chicago and Rockford areas since its founding in 2002. Foundation head Dr. Sandy Goldberg has made it her mission to offer cost-free mammograms to every uninsured or underinsured individual affected by cancer. 50 & Beautiful will fund those free mammograms. "We are delighted that Shaun Rajah and all of the wonderful people at The Drake are supporting our mission in such a creative way," says Dr. Sandy.
