Patrick Park Hosts Private Reception to Honor Palm Beach Opera 50th Anniversary Gala & Concert
On January 10, 2012, close to 100 guests attended a reception at Patrick Park's home in honor of the Jan. 20 Golden Jubilee 50th Anniversary Gala and Concert to celebrate the Council and Committee who have worked so hard to ensure the elegant evening will be a smashing success.
The reception featured entertainment by the Palm Beach Opera Young Artists, Emily Duncan-Brown, Evanvivaldo Correa and Kenneth Stavert as well as Flamenco dancers performing poolside to the Latin music of Ole Ole. Guests were offered vodka from an luge, an ice sculpture with caviar station, turkey and beef tenderloin carving stations, gourmet passed hors d'oeuvres and petite dessert selections.
Noteworthy guests include, Patrick Park and M. Mac Schwebel of the Anniversary Gala Council; Helen K. Persson, Honorary Chair and 50th Anniversary Season Sponsor; Gladys Benenson and Howard & Patricia Lester, Golden Gala Sponsors and Board Members. Other Board Members in attendance include, Hans and Sigrid Baumann; Elizabeth Bowden; Arlette Gordon; Rick Cosnotti and wife Sharon Bledsoe; Rita Denerstein; John and Susan Domenico; Paul and Sandra Goldner; Ari Rifkin; Phil Whitacre and Dennis and Roseanne Williams. Also in attendance were Alexander and Renata Dreyfoos, and Dominick and Susan Telesco.
