Education Celebration Kickoff at 251 The Club

(Palm Beach, FL, April 15, 2011) – Alzheimer’s Community Care teamed up with 251 The Club in Palm Beach to host a cocktail party to kickoff the upcoming Alzheimer’s Educational Conference. Conference sponsors, exhibitors, committee and board members all enjoyed an evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and toasted the success of what promises to be an outstanding Educational Conference. Co-Chair and Sherri Greenblatt, Conference Agenda Coordinator addressed the crowd and provided some inspiring words regarding their involvement while also hinting at some of the exciting conference details. “This year’s Alzheimer’s Educational Conference has an amazing lineup of experts speaking to the diverse needs of caregivers and healthcare professionals alike,” stated Amy Dean, Conference Co-Chair. “Anyone who is touched by Alzheimer’s disease will benefit greatly by attending this conference--the second largest in the nation. Everyone who attends will walk away from this conference feeling better educated, more empowered and less stressed than before.”

This nationally recognized conference, presented by Alzheimer’s Community Care, will be held on May 5^th and 6^th at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach and is expected to attract over 1,200 attendees. The conference will feature keynote speaker, Gail Sheehy, the New York Times best-selling author of “Passages” and “Passages in Caregiving.” Ms. Sheehy will be the keynote speaker at the conference during the luncheon on Friday, May 6, which will be emceed by WPTV NewsChannel 5 Anchor, Tania Rogers. Gail Sheehy will also be the featured guest at an exclusive Author’s Reception, which will be held on Thursday, May 5 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Tickets for this opportunity to meet Gail Sheehy in an intimate setting are available for $50 each and are limited to the first 50 guests registered. The evening will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, musical entertainment and
book signing.
