philanthropist and global icon Meera Gandhi has played many
roles over the course of her life. As the founder and CEO of
The Giving Back Foundation, Meera has travelled the world in
service of the underprivileged. As a former volunteer at
Ashadaan, she learnt the joy of self-sacrifice from Mother
Teresa herself. As a mother, she raised her three children
while successfully managing her philanthropic, business and
social engagements. |

Meera Gandhi
and Kerry Kennedy were spotted at
Come Prima restaurant on Madison and 73 rd street, a
favorite of Woody Allen and Robert De Niro on
Wednesday Sept 17 th at a charity evening to support
www.GlobalGirlsGlow.org
This is a mentoring program for girls by women CEOs and
women leaders across USA and the world.
The restaurant was packed with power players who all showed
up to lend their support to this fast growing grass roots
charity.
Salvatore Lombardi, the owner of Come Prima
restaurant said
“ children are our future.”
Co-host Kunal Sood, Founder Kylie Schuyler and
Meera Gandhi echoed this throughout the evening.
The new book Voices for Impact was also unveiled at
the
Global Girls Glow party.
Amongst the glitterati seen were
Amy Green, Barrett La Roda who flew in from
LA and David Garfinkle of Broadway acclaim, David
Hochberg
and many others.
It was a very special Manhattan evening reminding all that
NYC is all heart and always open to supporting any great
cause.
