The Resource Foundation invites you to its
annual Gala dinner on May 4th in New York City,
bringing together philanthropic leaders and partners
committed to expanding opportunity across Latin America and
the Caribbean.
Talent is everywhere across the region; opportunity is not.
More than one in five people still lives in poverty,
including over 40 percent of children and adolescents. By
2030, only half of school-age youth are projected to be on
track to gain the skills needed for the jobs of the future.
The need to better connect learning with opportunity has
never been more urgent.
That is why we invest in education, technology, and
innovation that help young people turn potential into
possibility, and we invite you to join us in this cause.
This year, we honor María del Mar Vélez, founder of Crack
the Code, whose work is helping shape the next
generation of digital leaders in Latin America. Grounded in
the belief that the region’s technological future begins
with its children, Crack the Code has reached more than
13,500 students and continues to scale its impact.
Her leadership embodies the purpose of this evening:
recognizing talent
and building real pathways to opportunity.
By coming together, we celebrate what is possible and affirm
our shared commitment to a future in which the next
generation across Latin America and the Caribbean is not
only included, but empowered to lead.
The Resource Foundation
connects US funders with trusted Latin American and Caribbean
nonprofit organizations, simplifying cross-border giving. It
provides US funders with a direct pathway to drive impact in
Latin America and the Caribbean, while serving as a fiscal
sponsor to help local nonprofits expand their funding
opportunities and access the US philanthropic market. |
