The Harold & Carole
Pump Foundation today announced that the Los Angeles Dodgers
World Champions will be honored at the 26th annual celebrity
dinner to be held on Thursday, August 20 at the Beverly
Hilton Hotel. The back-to-back champions to be honored
include manager Dave Roberts, shortstop Mookie Betts,
catcher Will Smith, utility man Miguel Rojas, outfielder
Andy Pages and infielder-outfielder Kiké Hernandez. The
star-studded evening will once again feature one-of-a-kind
items during the signature silent and live auctions,
including coveted sports memorabilia, luxurious travel
experiences, VIP tickets to world-class events and more.
“The Los Angeles
Dodgers incredible comeback in Toronto last year to make it
back-to-back championships was one of the greatest in World
Series history,” said Dana Pump. “The unyielding Dodgers
showed the world and the city of Los Angeles what champions
are made of, and we are proud to salute this great team.”
Dodger manager Dave
Roberts, who is in his 11th year with the Dodgers and who
recently became the quickest Major League manager to win
1,000 games in his career, guided the team to back-to-back
championships and they are looking to try to become the
first National League team in 2026 to win
back-to-back-to-back World Championships.
Shortstop Mookie
Betts, who stepped on second base and fired the ball to
Freddie Freeman for the game-ending double play to give the
Dodgers a back-to-back title, has been the steady Dodger
leader in the field and at the plate. His 20 homers and 82
RBIs aided the Dodger offense and his steady play in the
field guided the Dodgers in a very successful post-season.
Betts is a one-time American League MVP, an eight-time
All-Star, a four-time World Series champion, a six-time Gold
Glove winner, a seven-time Silver Slugger and last year he
was named the Major League Baseball’s Roberto Clemente
honoree.
Catcher Will Smith
proved how important he is not only at the plate, but in
guiding the pitching staff behind the plate throughout the
regular and post-season. Smith’s 11th inning home run gave
the Dodgers a 5-4 victory and led the Dodgers to become the
first team to win back-to-back World Series titles in 25
years. Smith set a single-series World Series record of 73
innings caught against the Blue Jays including 18 innings of
Game 3 and 11 innings of Game 7. He caught a total of 133
post-season innings in 2025.
Utility man Miguel
Rojas came through with the other important home run in Game
7 of the World Series. Facing the Blue Jays closer and down
to their final two outs and losing 4-3, the veteran Rojas
connected on a 3-2 slider to get the Dodgers even and give
them another shot at back-to-back titles. Rojas also showed
how important he is in the field as the veteran made a great
stop with the infield in at second base and connected with
Will Smith at home plate for a force out by inches to
continue the Dodgers comeback.
Outfielder Andy
Pages, who was inserted in the game for defensive purposes,
made a series-saving catch in the ninth inning while
colliding with teammate Kiké Hernŕndez to rob Ernie Clement
of a walk-off hit. The catch sent the series into extra
innings.
Infielder-outfielder
Kiké Hernŕndez made a game-ending catch in left field and
double play to end game six and send the Dodgers into a
seventh and deciding game. Hernŕndez’ steady play in the
infield and outfielder played an important part in the
Dodgers’ success in 2025.
