"NOTHING TO WEAR"
is an innovative art installation by Bonnie Comley, hosted at ChaShaMa's
space in New York City.
ChaShaMa is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to
transforming unused real estate into affordable work and
presentation spaces for artists. With a mission to support
emerging and underrepresented artists, ChaShaMa provides
opportunities for creative expression and community
engagement.
Running from February 24 to March 19, 2024,
"NOTHING TO WEAR"
at ChaShaMa invites visitors to explore the intersections of
fashion, identity, and sustainability. Through immersive
experiences, the installation challenges conventional
notions of fashion and consumption, prompting reflection on
the environmental impact of clothing choices.
ChaShaMa's commitment to fostering artistic innovation
aligns seamlessly with the themes of "NOTHING TO WEAR,"
making it an ideal venue for this thought-provoking
exhibition. The collaboration between ChaShaMa and Bonnie
Comley underscores the organization's dedication to
supporting artists who push boundaries and provoke
meaningful dialogue through their work.
Special thanks to ChaShaMa and Founder Anita Durst,
