philanthropist and global icon Meera Gandhi has played many
roles over the course of her life. As the founder and CEO of
The Giving Back Foundation, Meera has travelled the world in
service of the underprivileged. As a former volunteer at
Ashadaan, she learnt the joy of self-sacrifice from Mother
Teresa herself. As a mother, she raised her three children
while successfully managing her philanthropic, business and
social engagements. |

"I caught up with Meera Gandhi just back from LA".
Meera Gandhi shared that she had the privilege of
attending the ceremony for the amazing Actress Lisa Lu
as she received her STAR on the Hollywood Walk of
Fame!
Lucia Hwong Gordon @goddesslucia Lisa Lu's
daughter and longtime friend of Meera Gandhi had
invited her out to Hollywood in
Los Angeles for this momentous event!
Lisa Lu has been in numerous films including The
Joy Luck Club, Crazy Rich Asians, The last Emperor,
The Disappearance of Mrs. Wu to name just a few hits!

1. Lisa Lu is the first Asian American to have a star
on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame!
2. Lisa Lu's Star is number 2811 on the
Hollywood Star Walk of Fame!
3. Lisa Lu even has a postage stamp dedicated to her
in China,
issued in 2006!
4. Lisa Lu is 98 years young and still actively
working.
5. Lisa Lu is the ONLY Hollywood star who has been
simultaneously nominated for a Golden Globe award, Oscar
Award, Screen Actors Guild award and an Emmy Award!
