Dear
Friends,
It is my
pleasure to
announce
that we have
selected two
artists to
collaborate
on our
London Peace
Wall that
will begin
on July
27th!
We are very
excited!
Our artists
are:
Sadie
Edginton
and
Joanna Nowek;
who are both
artist
educators,
working
together for
the last
year, as
part of
Exchange
Projects; a
collective
of 6 local
artists'
base around
Hackney Wick
area. Sadie
and Joanna
have
collaborated
with local
community
groups and
members to
open up a
dialogue
between
local
artists and
local
residents.
Sadie's
background
is in
painting and
sculpture,
but now
works in
installation
and
photography.
Joanna works
in digital
photography
and design.
Both
continue
their
individual
artist
practice
which now
has become
influenced
by community
and
collaborative
work.
The Peace
Wall in
London would
not be
possible
without our
artists, but
more so, it
would not be
possible
without our
Project
Coordinator
in London,
Severine
Breton.
Severine is
a graduate
student at
Central
Saint
Martins,
College of
Art and
Design,

through the
arts.
