WEST PALM
BEACH, FL. (January 28, 2009) –More than 50 guests were
welcomed into the fabulous waterfront home of Mary Campbell
on January 12 for a celebratory party to kick off the 33rd
American Red Cross Designers’ Show House, open through
February 14.
An event
benefiting the Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter of the
American Red Cross, the Designers’ Show House is being held
at the Providencia House, a historic home located at 1125
North Flagler Drive in the heart of West Palm Beach’s
Providencia Park neighborhood. All money raised from the
event goes to the American Red Cross to help provide
essential disaster relief services to more than 1.5 million
people in Palm Beach, Hendry, Okeechobee and Glades
counties.
“The
Designers’ Show House is one of my favorite events and I was
honored to welcome the dedicated committee and designers in
to my home,” said Mary Campbell. “The American Red Cross is
an organization close to my heart and it is my pleasure to
do anything I can to help support their local efforts.”
Party-goers dined on hors d'oeuvres including delectable
lobster corndogs, beef tenderloin sandwiches and shrimp
cocktail shooters and sipped champagne as well as the
signature ‘New Year in the Tropics’ cocktails— created by
the host herself in honor of the evening’s celebration of
the Designers’ Show House— while mingling throughout the
fabulous suite overlooking the Intracoastal waterway. Guests

Ticket Prices and Admission
General
admission tickets to the Show House are $30. Special
pricing is available for groups of ten or more. The Show
House will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds will
benefit the American Red Cross Greater Palm Beach Area

About the 2009 Designers’ Show House
The
Designers’ Show House, from January 15 – February 14, 2009,
is a much-anticipated annual event, bringing together
acclaimed designers who designed and decorated the historic
1936 luxury home at 1125 North Flagler Drive in Providencia
Park room-by-room. The Show House welcomes nationally-known
interior designers in addition to those from South Florida.
The event also incorporates the exterior and pool area with
landscape designers lending their artistic touches to the
Show House.
This
year’s dedicated committee includes Desmond and Cristina
Keogh, General Chairmen; Charlotte Moss, Honorary Chairman;
Stephen Mooney and Bill Kopp, Design Chairmen; Keith
