A Designer Showhouse to
Benefit the American Heart Association
to open April 2015
The American
Heart Association is
happy to announce that the second “Home
Is Where The Heart Is” Designer Showhouse will
open with a Gala Preview Cocktail Party on Thursday, April
16, 2015 and will be open to the public for six weeks until
Sunday, May 31st, 2015. “Home
Is Where The Heart Is” will
take place in a classic English Regency manor house located
in Mill Neck, New York. Proceeds will benefit the American
Heart Association, the nation’s oldest and largest
voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting heart
disease and stroke.
“Home Is Where The Heart Is”,
in its second year, will be a showcase for America’s premier
design talent. Approximately 20 top interior designers and
landscape designers from the New York Metropolitan Area will
turn a classic English Regency manor house with magnificent
rooms and exquisite period details into a decorating
masterpiece. The house is located at 393
Oyster Bay Road, Mill Neck, New York and
has been generously provided by The Christopher D. Smithers
Foundation.

event the success that it is.”
“Home Is Where The Heart Is” will
open with a Gala Preview Cocktail Party on Thursday, April
16, 2014 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and will be open to the
public from Friday, April 17, 2013 to Sunday, May 31, 2015.
Showhouse hours will be as follows: Tuesdays through
Fridays from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays
from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The Showhouse will be closed on
Mondays. Tickets to the Gala are $175 each. Admission to
the Showhouse is $35 per person or $20 per person when
purchased in groups of 20 or more. There will be no
admission to the Showhouse 30 minutes before closing.
Children under 6, strollers and pets are not admitted into
the Showhouse.
