NEW YORK, NY - As New
York City welcomes the world-famous Westminster Kennel Club
Dog Show next month, the pet-friendly New Yorker Hotel

canine celebrities as it presents the New Yorkie Runway
Fashion Show on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 during Westminster
pre-show excitement.
The New Yorkie Runway Fashion Show kicks off with a Red
Carpet Cocktail Party at 5:30 pm before the four-legged
models hit the runway at 7 pm. Tickets for the Cocktail Hour
& Fashion Show are $55 per person. Fashion Show Only tickets
are available for $25 per person (canine companions are
complimentary). Tickets can be purchased online at

The legendary Voice of Westminster and author of the new
book Angel on a Leash, David Frei, will be the emcee for
this canine couture event with NYC's New Yorkie™ pet apparel
dressing the runway pups in its new Spring line. All
proceeds from the New Yorkie Runway Fashion Show will
benefit Angel on a Leash, a non-profit organization that
creates therapy dog programs for hospitals and institutions

Schmitty The Weather Dog
and Meteorologist Ron Trotta
(the official weather team for the Westminster Kennel Club
Dog Show) are among the New York personalities and
celebrities who will be walking the runway with their pups
to raise money for this important cause.

Prize Patrol "mascot" may walk the runway on Feb. 10 during
